Sibuks!

I'm barking mad. Mad to stay at the office until the wee hour last nite. Needless to say, I'm going to KL again later today. Nasib baik everything dah setel malam tadi. Meeting material. Printed e-mails. Et cetera, et cetera.

Aku rasa dah nak time la. Sebab angin aku pun macam angin kus-kus. Sekejap sejuk, sekejap panas. Mintak maaf, yang. Terkasar bahasa pulak petang semalam :( Nasib baik dia dah semakin memahami. Selera makan pun bertambah jugak. Pantang-larang, diet sumer redah aje. Yang penting nafsu makan tu puas. Itulah petandanya aku akan dilanda... (dot, dot, dot.)

Mungkin jugak sebab aku tensen. Aku betul2 nak tengok projek aku 'live' on time. Kalau boleh, comes New Year 2006 je, dah launch la projek aku nih. Amin. At the same time, aku nak kena setelkan urusan berpindah-randah ni. Maklumlah, nomad. Ke mana2pun bawak segulung tikar buruk aku tu je (best la pulak guna ayat 'segulung tikar buruk'. Next entry nak buat 'Carneyz & Segulung Tikar Buruknya'. Haha! >gelak evil<).

Then nak kena attend meeting kat KL. Sabtu nih dah dapat assignment baru pulak. Boleh tak kalau aku propose kat bos aku supaya keja aku blogging je?? Boleh tak??

Antara nak setelkan projek nih, bos suruh revise design signage yang aku buat tu. Nasib baik minor changes je. Cuma bila discuss ngan Chairman on my design, dia propose buat something yang even better. Chairman nih nak kene cekik jugak! Cakap last minute, haku jugak yang, 'Ala... naper u tak bagitau awal2??! Kalau tak I dah revise awal2 cam idea u tu...' Tau tak dia jawab aper??

'You tak tanya pun.'

Uish Chairman. Gigit karang! Kenapalah ke'poyo'sanmu itu cukup menguji kesabaran aku. Nasib baik ur one of my good friends. Sudah, sudah. Daripada aku makan orang, baik aku revise design sebelum tunjuk kat Trump, Inc.

I have approximate 10 days to complete my part of the project.

Relax. Take a deep breath. Exhale. Relax. Take life one day at a time. Finished about 40% of the project, kan? Apa nak risau?

Pagi tadi:

Me : Roy, how's the task? What's the update?
Roy: Yeah, working on it.
Me : 7 Dec, kay?
Roy: Yup. Can, la...

Me : Chairman, you're working on that task right?
Chairman : Uhuh.
Me : Would you be able to deliver it by 7th?
Chairman : Uhuh (nak keluarkan sepatah perkataan dari Chairman nih memang memerlukan usaha gigih. 'Uhuh' yg tak tersenarai dalam mana2 kamus Dewan atau Oxford dah cukup bagus la)

Property department dah submitted bahagian dieorang. Cuma tinggal BD department je lagi. Tapi bahagian BD nih represent 50% of the project.

Hmm. Sabar, sabar...

Motor Kesayanganku Selalu...

Motosikal Kriss 1 ialah satu2nya harta paling mahal penah aku miliki dalam dunia nih. Oleh sebab aku beli ngan titik peluh aku sendiri, jadi aku memang sayang giler ngan motor nih. Kalau Kak Eyna ada CLK nya sendiri (Cute Little Kancil), aku pun ada gak CLK versi 2-roda - 'Cute Little Kriss'.

Tapi motor Kriss aku nih memang suka menguji tahap kesabaran aku. Aku beli motor nih second hand (yalah, aku cuma mampu beli yang tu je, selain dari segulung tikar yang buruk buat alas tido & solat...) n benda second hand nih, faham2 jelah.

Bayangkan, time tu aku tak reti bawak motor. Nak start motor pun berpeluh2. Ingatkan start motor nih memang susah giler, rupa2nya lepas beberapa insiden yang bukan setakat memalukan (motor mati kat lampu trafik) tapi buatkan aku panik giler (Yana selalu jadi tukang rescue), spark plug aku dah nak kena tukar. Hampeh betul. Tak pe. Baru RM4.

Lepas tu, satu demi satu masalah menimpa aku, tapi sebab aku sayang giler ngan motor Kriss warna biru aku nih, aku tak penah pun terfikir nak jual balik. Tayar pancit la, enjin rosak la... you name it, you got it. Atas nasihat somebody, aku pun bawak la motor aku nih gi servis (first time gi buat full service).

Nak menangis aku bayar RM200! Gila seyy! RM200... Sumer benda kat dalam tu dia tukar. Lepas tu bagitau aku tak bley bawak lebih dari 60km/j selama 2 bulan. Sakit jiwa aku dengar arahan tu. Tapi demi memastikan motor aku 'sembuh', aku pun ikut je la arahan tu. Dua bulan kemudian, pecut lagi motor cam kena kejar hantu.

Sekali lagi motor aku buat hal tak lama kemudian. Dan RM200 lagi melayang... Tapi al-hamdulillah, kali nih ok. Enjin tak mati2 je kalau berenti kat traffic light. Perasaan sayang kat motor tu bertambah2. Lepas 4 bulan tak gi buat servis (motor elok lagi, takpe...), aku pun bercadang nak buat servis full sekali lagi (hehe. Ada duit lebih sket bulan nih. Gi la buat servis).

6 jam 1/2 kemudian, aku ternganga di depan tauke kedai motor tu bila dia cakap aku kena bayar RM115.50! 'Tauke! Arituh dah tukar sumer kan, apsal rosak lagi? Lu betul2 cakap la, ini macam saya mau heart attack la!' Jadi dia pun buat cost breakdown utk aku:

Full service = RM18

Top Casket = RM24.50

Plag = RM4 (gila haper, tukar plag aku???! Plag aku baru lagi maahhh...)

Minyak 4T = RM10

Filter oil = RM8

Granpur (amende nih??) = RM25

Waf apekebenda = RM13 x 2 = RM26

Aku bukak wallet, merenung sayu kat duit dalam dompet, bagi dier RM105 ('Ngengada la nak mintak banyak sangat. Arituh dah tukar sumer, lagi mau charge saya ini macam!'), bayar & blah. Sedeyyy! Kechiwa!! Uwaaa!!! Tupun balik je rumah member, tengok2 dieorg adjust brek kaki aku sampai lampu belakang tak nyala. Terpaksa la aku gi pinjam spanar adjust sendiri brek. Huhu...! Aku rasa, baik la aku belajar teknik2 menservis motor sendiri nih. Hampeh. Taubat aku nak buat full servis lagi pas ni...

Living Out of A Suitcase

It has been a week after I moved in with Jen and I still haven't unpack my stuffs. Everything is in boxes except for my sleeping stuffs. Even my clothes are still in my suitcase. What a simple life. I'm adapting to the environment as best as I can, although I still can't convince myself that lizard's droppings are normal things. Nevertheless, I'm coping well (the trick is to take off my spectacles).

I had a great weekend. I attended an Indian wedding, met up with my best friend Eva, went imaginary shopping (pretending that we want to buy whatever we fancy), had sushi (I love sushi!), had ice-cream (ice-cream tasted better after eating wasabi), did a makeover for my handphone (I'm a proud owner of Nokia 3210) and it looks like brand new after I changed the housing and bought a casing; and serviced my bike.

Well, basically I'm just enjoying myself during my last few weeks in Johor. After getting rid of my burden, I felt like I deserved a break before I say 'Au Revoir, Johor'.

Goodbye Johor.

Selama 3 hari aku takde di Johor, ada urusan di KL. Aku balik ngan otak yang serabut & letih giler. Banyak benda nak kena fikir. Aku terlalu banyak berfikir, kekadang benda yang remeh-temeh pun aku nak fikir. Buat bodoh je, tak boleh ke?

Semalam, balik dari KL, bos aku bagitau something.

'Mr. Usop has asked me to inform you that you will be transfered starting next month.'

'So long and goodbye.' Aku tepuk bahu Ainie. 'Bye, Jen, bye Chairman.'

Sekilas pandangan Chairman aku dah agak apa yang dia nak cakap. But I thought you like Johor... Yes, in a way, it already felt like my hometown. I like Johor as compared to where I'll be next month, the people, the food, the memories I collected in this place. I will never forget any of the laughters, the moments, the tranquility and the flurry of time I spent here.

But my future is not in Johor. Or I don't foresee myself spending the rest of my life here. There was a time when I felt that I couldn't leave this place. When I was part of Fab 5 and we spent every hour together, the five of us anywhere and everywhere. We come in a package, we told everybody. If one of us go, then all of us will go...

There was a time when I had suffered a loss, somebody came and made me happy. Thank you. I can't thank you enough. You had been a true friend indeed. I wish I know how to repay your kindness. For these reasons, I felt like I wouldn't leave Johor. All that was in the past.

Then there was the heartache. The hurt. The helpless feeling like I had been trapped and desperately need to break away. The confusion of what my heart and my mind and my instincts are trying to tell me. The long contemplation. The hostility. The avoidance. The point of no return. Then I figured out, for the best interest of everybody around me, I would take this transition and go.

Semoga yang nak pergi, akan terus tinggal. Dan keadaan yang huru-hara ni, akan kembali damai.

August 2005:
