Shopping Wish-List: Clothes

A couple of nights ago, while waiting for Suami Terchenta to finish his night course @ Cititel, I went to KLCC to cuci mata. Ya, ya... Working at KLCC doesn't mean I get the chance to cuci mata frequently. Usually lunch time I stay in the office coz so lazy to go down.

Suddenly walked into Isetan and blew away what's left of my salary on Communique blouse and Executive pants! :O I can't help it, leh! The mega sales discounts were so irresistible and no way I could get THOSE clothes at THOSE prices any other time. Hanya Tuhan membalas (as Diyana of diyanazman.com would say).

I must hand over my credit card to Suami Terchenta for safekeeping. Otherwise, I'll be getting a few more clothes such as:

I know, I know! I've got one already and since I don't go swimming every day why need two, right? But LOOK AT THAT DESIGN! How not to fall in love with that burqini? (Btw, burqini is the more or, a loooootttttt more modest version of bikini for Muslimah) Check out Al-Fareeda Bazaar for this kind of swimming suit. The price is reasonable too (RM100) compared to other online shops selling similar item.

2. Shawls

With the new baju, also need new tudung. Jen can become a testament to this crazy habit of both mine & Ainie's. These shawls are gorgeous. The good thing about this blog is, not only the lovely ladies sell shawls, they also provide step-by-step guide on how to wear them with style & elegance!

I HEART this baju kurung, isn't it elegant? Except for its humongous sleeves, it is exactly something I want for my Raya outfit (eh? Baru je nampak kat Internet, dah kata macam tu?) Selling at RM290. Sigh. Is credit card accepted? :p

My new swimsuit!

Note: This entry is for 18 yrs old and above ONLY! Budak bawah umur, sila main jauh2x!

Everyone who follow my blog dilligently surely knows that I love seaside vacations. We always go to some islands for our vacations - Tioman, Pangkor, Manukan. Perhaps some day we'll reach Perhentian or Redang, Insya Allah.

So, if I love seaside so much, I must be a pretty good swimmer right? The answer is...

NOOOOO!!!

I almost drowned during my first honeymoon trip with Suami Terchenta at Tioman Island. The experience was terrifying and since then, I was pretty phobic in the water alone. Suami Terchenta had to hold my hand the WHOLE TIME while we both were in the water.

But since I love water so much (but scared I might drown again), I decided that I should go for swimming lessons. I had been contemplating the idea since last year, and finally I signed up for it with a close friend of mine - I mean, she becomes my swimming instructor.

Kalau nak pergi swimming, haruslah pakai swimming suit kan? Hahaha! Kalau pakai tudung takkan nak pakai bikini kan? 😝 Sekiranya saya pakai bikini, bukan setakat macam nangka kena balut, tapi Suami Terchenta will kill me 18 times! Non-stop! Then forbid me to ever step out of the house!

Therefore, I have to be modest and cover a bit la, suitable as being a Moslem. So, I browsed through the Internet and came across islamicbajurenang.blogspot run by Matus. Her swimsuit collection not only fulfills the dress code of Moslem women, but also quite affordable compared to to other sites I visited. Some more, she has gorgeous floral but sporty collection!

Matus was quick in delivering the swimsuit and I had fun posing for it here! :

Can't wait for my swimming lesson next week! =)

Pink Is The New Purple

One of my favourite bodycare shops is The Body Shop mainly because it is environmental-friendly (paper bag i/o plastic) and also against animal testing (I know their products don't put some cats trapped in small cages going through tortures in the name of beauty).

Last month when I bought my facial wash, they even gave me a few coupons which I discovered will expire this month.

So being typical Malaysians who can't resist coupons, I went there again this month to get a new lippy for myself and to earn extra points (which will also expire this month).

The Body Shop is currently promoting their latest bodycare / makeup collection - Roseflower. I am happy to report that this lippie is oh-so-beautylicious! When I tried it on, I almost did a somersault - yeaay! I sangat heart this lipstick!

Roseflower collection is available in 3 shades of pink - Soft, True & Deep Pink. Since I rarely use anything pink-ish, it's a fresh change to my otherwise boring ol' usual red lippy. Also, check out it's packaging, isn't it adorable? :)

Like most other lipsticks, it also promises moisturising properties to keep lips dehydrated & beeswax that comes from Zambia (look up: Africa). Why should I mention this? Because income provided by The Body Shop when sourcing ingredients from this country has (to quote from The Body Shop's website) "enabled the communties to improve the standard of education for their children, as many more families can now afford to send their children to school".

The next time I put on my new lipstick, I will remember that a kid could possibly get to go to school today.
